Leeds news: Leeds Flood Concert gathers momentum

A huge concert will take place toward the end of February in Leeds to raise money for the victims of the Boxing Day floods.

Leeds Male Voice Choir will headline the event, which will be held at St Stephen’s Church in Kirkstall.

Organisers said there were several other choirs and other music acts performing at the event.

The concert, the brainchild of Tim Knight, director of the Leeds Male Voice Choise, will raise vital funds to help affected community and arts groups.

Featuring a range of local choirs and artists including, Heritage Masterworks Chorale and Songbirds the concert will start at 7.30pm.

Tickets cost £12 and are avaliable via Eventbrite.
