Lottery Winners Offer Amazing Bonus Ball Opportunity
Fast rising indie-band Lottery Winners are backing Halifax based charity Overgate Hospice in their Big Build Appeal which aims to raise a huge £12.75 million in order to build a new care wing which will transform their current site in Elland and provide outstanding care for end of life patients in the Calderdale area.
The band who recently had a second number one hit with their latest album KOKO are currently supporting pop icon Robbie Williams on his European tour but will visit Yorkshire on November 13 to play a headlining concert from which 100% of the ticket sales will go to the deserving charity.
As part of the night the chance is being now being offered for an unsigned artist or band to play on the night as support act for The Lottery Winners and lines are now open for Yorkshire talent to upload demos of their work in order to be considered with closing date being September 30.
The concert is the brainchild of local businessman Neil Rushworth, along with his wife Kirsty who have committed to funding all costs of the event which will take place at the Victoria Theatre in Halifax, in the heart of the Calderdale community which already provides ongoing support to Overgate.
Rushworth commented on his aims with the project, “Overgate Hospice, like all other hospices throughout the UK now receives no a very small amount of government financial support and is required to self-fund the charity remaining funds needed in order to be an crucial part of end of life care for their patients.
I have supported the hospice personally and through my business for many years now but the Big Build Appeal is next level in terms of the funds it requires but having already raised £12.25m and the construction now being underway it is vital that the local community helps to get us over the line with the targets.
The Lottery Winners and their management have been unbelievable in their support with this gig right from the start and have accommodated it as the only Yorkshire date on of their UK tour in November but have recently allowed us to market this amazing opportunity to showcase rising local talent as part of the night supporting one of the most entertaining live bands in the UK currently, their music appeals to a huge range of ages. It will be a great night with all ticket sales going directly to Overgate so we hope that people will get behind the event”
Tickets are on sale now directly from Victoria Theatre box office priced at £375.50 per ticket.
