She was presented with her prize at a surprise assembley by head of the music service Kevin Rivett.

Hannah was presented with a music goody bag and a voucher for free instrument hire for next term.

Calderdale Council’s Cabinet Member for Children and Young People’s Services, Councillor Megan Swift, said: “I’d like to congratulate Hannah Horsfall from Lightcliffe CE (VA) Primary School, who won the music word search competition, organised by the Calderdale Music Service.

“ The competition featured as part of the first edition of the Calderdale Music Hub newsletter, which was sent to over 1,000 pupils learning an instrument in Calderdale.

“I hope Hannah and all the other entrants to the competition continue to enjoy their music lessons through the Calderdale Music Service,” added Councillor Swift (Lab, Town).
