Musician Joe Brown postpones Calderdale gig

Musician Joe Brown has had to postpone a gig in Halifax scheduled for Friday (May 2).

The performence at the Victoria Theatre will now take place on Friday, September 12, at 7.30pm.

Mr Brown’s promoter said in a statement: “Joe Brown, currently on a major UK tour, is having to reschedule six of his shows.

“Joe underwent a small routine medical procedure on April 28 which means that six previously announced shows will now take place in the Autumn of 2014.”

The theatre has said that tickets purchased for Friday’s gig will be valid in September.

A spokesperson said: “If you cannot attend the rescheduled date then please return your tickets to the box office by Thursday 31st July 2014 for a refund.

“Please note that refunds cannot be issued without a valid ticket.

“Please accept our apologies for any disappointment and inconvenience this may cause.”
