Square Chapel arts centre, Halifax, willopen its doors to movie fans this summer as the lights go down on a classic series of films.

Comedy and drama will feature in the film season as well as children’s classics to keep youngsters entertained during the summer holiday.

The season gets underway on Saturday, July 25 with the mysterious drama ‘Mommy’ (15) at 7.30pm.

On Sunday, July 26 the children’s animation ‘Tangled’ will be shown at 2.30pm.

Future screenings include ‘Wuthering Heights’ on Saturday, August 8 at 7.30pm, ‘The Never-ending Story’ on Sunday, August 9 at 2.30pm, and ‘Napoleon Dynamite’ on Saturday, August 22 at 7.30pm.

The Roald Dahl children’s story ‘Matilda’ will be shown on Sunday, August 23 at 2.30pm.
