Sensational hits from the 60s

An explosive line-up of musical artists from the 1960s is set to take the stage of the Victoria Theatre, Halifax, by storm this autumn.

The Sensational 60s Experience will deliver a show packed with nostalgia and stunning hits.

Hosted by Alan Mosca from Freddie and the Dreamers, the show will bring together the talents of Herman’s Hermits, Chris Farlowe, Steve Ellis, the voice of Love Affair, Union Gap (UK) and the new Amen Corner.

Packed with more than 25 hits, the show will turn back the clock with ‘I’m Into Something Good’ and ‘Something Is Happening’ from Herman’s Hermits’, ‘Everlasting Love’ and ‘Bringing on Back the Good Times’ from Steve Ellis, ‘Out of Time’ and ‘Handbags and Gladrags’ from Chris Farlowe and ‘Young Girl’ and ‘Lady Willpower’ from Union Gap (UK).

Herman’s Hermits, throughout the mid-60s music scene, proved to be a dominating force worldwide. From 1964 the band chalked up over 23 top 20 singles, 10 hit albums, 3 major movies.

Herman’s Hermits to date have sold 75,000,000 records worldwide. Their chart breaking hits include ‘ Mrs Brown You’ve Got A Lovely Daughter’, ‘Silhouettes’, ‘There’s A Kind Of Hush’, ‘Henry V111’ and many more.

The band performs more than 200 shows a year worldwide and after over 40 years in the business Herman’s Hermits are still into ‘Something good’.
