Hit show Shrek takes ‘ogre’

The 2015 touring company stars Dean Chisnall who will continue his role as the swamp-dwelling ogre - a role he previously played in the West End - with Bronte Barbe as the ‘damsel in duistress’ Princess Fiona and Idriss Kargbo as the wisecracking Donkey and Gerard Kelly as the pint-sized Lord Farquaad.

They are joined by a full company of fairy-tale characters.

The UK tour of ‘Shrek The Musical’ is directed by Nigel Harman who starred as Lord Farquaad in the West End production which won him a 2012 Laurence Olivier award for best performance in a supporting role in a musical.
