Mikron serves up a portion of tasty fun
Theatre company Mikron will be serving up the nation’s favourite dish, fish and chips, in their new play ‘One of Each’ which comes to Square Chapel arts centre, Halifax, on Sunday, October 18.
The company, which spends part of the year touring the waterways on a vintage narrowboat, will look at the history of fish and chips and how they have become a national icon. The story is told at a cracking pace, with humour, live music and memorable characters.
Writer Deborah McAndrew said: “Like most British people, fish and chips is full of nostalgia for me. If heaven exists, that’s what it is - hot, salty, seaside fish and chips.”
The cast includes Ellen Chivers, James Mclean, Rachael Henley and Steve McCourt.
