From serving pints toserving top-rated laughs

Rich Wilson fell in love with comedy as a child when his neighbour gave him an Eddie Murphy cassette.

But his performing aspirations lay dormant until he ended up years later working behind the bar at a London comedy club and one night decided to give it a go himself. Inspired by the comedians he saw, he turned his hand to performing in 2004, and has since become a circuit regular, especially as a compere.

Rich’s comedy has won high praise with Frank Skinner describing him as ‘a very, very funny man’.
