Victoria Theatre to bring fun and laughter back to Halifax as it announces first comedy shows
The Victoria Theatre has announced plans to welcome theatregoers back into the theatre after over a year of remaining closed due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
The venue will reopen with an exciting programme of ‘Spaced Out Comedy’ events initially operating with safety measures in place and socially distanced seating until the theatre is able to return to full capacity.
The theatre has also achieved the Visit Britain ‘We’re Good to Go’ and UK Theatres ‘See it Safely’ kitemarks by demonstrating dedication to the highest safety standards for staff and visitors.
The first event on Friday May 28 will see the return of the theatre’s hugely popular Dick & Liddy’s Comedy Club.
Originally hosted in the theatre’s Green Room Bar, the event will now be taking place in the theatre’s main auditorium.
The Comedy Club will also take place on Friday June 25 and Friday July 30.
