Tickled pink on the dark side of the moon

Admirers of the prog-rock band Pink Floyd are in for a treat on Saturday, N ovember 28 when one of the NorthWest’s leading tribute bands, Oldham-based Pinked Floyd, take the short trip across the Pennines to make their debut at Arden Road Social Club.

Floyd fans young and old are promised an energetic show based on Pink Floyd’s studio albums and live performances.

The two-hour set contains music from the entire catalogue of the last 47 years including all the well-known favourites from Dark Side Of The Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals, and The Wall, and a representative selection from other albums.

Lifelong fans and newbies alike will love the amazing sound and visuals of this seven-piece band.

More than anything fans will be blown away by the band’s lead guitar. Close your eyes and you would be forgiven for thinking that Dave Gilmour was on the stage.
