Valley illuminated by light and fire display

Calder Valley will be illuminated this winter with fire and light when the Lamplighter Festival returns to Todmorden next month.

Handmade Parade has announced that the fourth annual event will take place on Saturday, November 19 with a street festival from 5pm until 7pm.

The lantern parade will be at 7pm with a fiery finale at 7:45pm.

Open lantern making workshops will run at Todmorden College as follows:

November

5&6 - 2pm-4pm

9 - 3.30pm–5.30pm

13 - 2pm-4pm

16 - 3.30pm–5.30pm

Everyone is welcome . Under 13s must be accompanied by an adult. Entrance is by donation (we suggest £5 per lantern).
