Wide range of music from military band

Music lovers young and old are in for a treat on Friday night when Huddersfield Town Hall plays host to the band of the Yorkshire Regiment.

They will play a combination of music from well-known films, the songbook of Frank Sinatra and some original military pieces.

This Festival of Remembrance concert aims to raise money for three charities: The Mayor of Kirklees chosen charity - Diabetes UK, The Royal British Legion and Yorkshire Regiment Benevolent Trust.

The concert will feature a number of special guests including: Scots Guards Association Pipers, Violinist Mark Ostyn and Organist Dr Gordon Stewart, as well as a number of soloists from the band itself. The concert takes place at Huddersfield Town Hall on Friday 6 November at 7.15pm. Anyone who is interested in this one off musical extravaganza should book a ticket as soon as possible.
