Kate Greenway is the local franchisee of the company, which secured a £35,000 investment on Dragons’ Den from Deborah Meaden.

The September sale at Lightcliffe Academy Sports Centre drew over 300 buyers - 100 in the first five minutes - with some queuing for half an hour beforehand to get the best bargains.

Kate said: “Buyers can source great quality secondhand goods at a fraction of the high street price and sellers keep 100 per cent of their profits. Our top seller mum made £550 selling at a Mum2Mum Market.”

The next local market takes place at Sowerby Bridge High School on Saturday, October 8 from 1.15pm. Admission costs £2.
