Brighouse engineering firm helps supply parts for vital ventilators

Flow Technology was asked to apply its expertise in stainless steel to produce fittings urgently required to allow the flow of oxygen to the ventilators.

Director Julian Selby said: “We have long been associated with the medical gas supply industry but to be asked to help with this vital need for equipment has proved humbling and provided a sense of pride – the staff have been working flat out on a 24-hour basis to cover the quantities needed.

"All of our people have been totally committed to getting the work out on time and we could not ask for more.

“The local community have been hugely supportive which just shows that in a desperate situation like this people have come together to beat this threat.”
