Brighouse gets a taste of what’s on offer

A wide range of stalls featuring some tasty delicacies took over Brighouse town centre on Saturday.

The Brighouse Totally Locally market was arranged by the Brighouse Business Initiative and featured great local businesses from across Calderdale.

The smell of roasting meat filled the street and the odd shower of rain failed to dampen the spirit of the hundreds who turned out for the one day event.

Sowerby Bridge’s mongolian restaurant Temujin had a stall alongside a host of cake and sweet treat sellers.

John Forsyth, 34, from Rastrick said: “It’s been really great to have a wander round and try some fresh bread and local produce.”
