Business submits ‘much needed’ expansion plan of warehouse

A manufacturer has submitted plans for the “much needed” expansion of its Bradford warehouse.

Rotor Technical Services is based at New Works Road in Low Moor, and produced motors, pumps and control systems.

A caravan storage business, run by the same company, also operates from the site.

The company has now submitted a planning application to build a 459 square metre extension to its warehouse.

The expansion will be used as storage for both the manufacturing business, and the caravan storage business.

The planning application says: “The applicant is proposing to construct a much needed warehouse extension within their existing site.

“The social impact will be minimal as the warehouse would be within an existing industrial estate. The warehouse will provide additional secure caravan storage and much need secure storage to an already long established employer within the area.”

A decision on the application is expected in May.
