Businesses for sale: Halifax balloon shop owner looking for a buyer for her 'beloved business'

Cardelium, on Ovenden Road in Ovenden, is open as usual but its owner is looking for someone to buy the business.

Anthea Orchard, who started the balloon specialist shop in 2012, said the decision to sell up has been one of the hardest of her life.

She stressed the shop is not closing and the sale will include the business name, reputation, website, stock, equipment and van.

The store also sells party goods, gift wrap and greetings cards.

Anthea posted: “Other than leaving the fire service, this has been the hardest decision I’ve ever made in my life.

"I’ve built Cardelium up from nothing and I’m so very proud of it and what it resembles.

"I hope that someone genuine and lovely comes forward to show an interest in carrying on what I started.”
