Centre riding high with accreditation

Laura Brennan Equestrian Centre is a small family run, British Horse Society and Pony Club approved centre, and teach riders of all abilities and specialise in exam preparation.

Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA), in partnership with Hoof, the British Equestrian Federation’s (BEF) participation programme launched the Accessibility Mark scheme to encourage those who do not already partake in equestrian activities or would not usually have the opportunity to do so, to experience the many benefits that riding can bring.

The centre has acquired a reputation for its high standards, and gained credibility in the local area as the place to go to learn to ride or advance their skills, something they hope to strive to continue with their disabled clients, having been told about the Accessibility Mark scheme by their BEF representative.

Accessibility Mark status is awarded to a riding centre that has been approved by RDA following training and assessment.

There are 30 Accessibility Mark approved centres across the country.
