Elland firm launches service to deliver everyday essentials

EC Deliveries, the latest service from innovative taxi firm Elland Cars, promises to deliver any item at any time to anyone – as long as they’re in the Halifax area.

“People shouldn’t be making unnecessary trips,” said John Crossley, owner of Elland Cars.

“Why put yourself and others at risk during a pandemic when we could bring whatever you need to your door? That was the thought behind EC Deliveries – to make everyday shopping easier and safer for the local community.”

The new service will forge partnerships with all kinds of local businesses, from national chains and takeaways to local makers and even pubs. So no matter what people want, they can get it courtesy of EC Deliveries and delivered by Elland Cars drivers.

All drivers will be adhering to government guidelines by wearing protective equipment and using hand sanitiser before and after each delivery.
