Coinciding with Halifax’s annual Christmas Light Switch On, there will be a Christmas fair in open-air courtyard on November 21 and 22, before seeing the return of the ever-popular principle Christmas Fair on November 27, 28 and 29.

Bringing together the best of local artists, makers, traders and suppliers the Christmas Fairs will offer an abundance of unique stalls boasting everything from cheese and sweets, to prints and jewellery, beside an array of warming food and tasty tipples.

Additional checks and guidance will be in place for traders and visitors to maintain COVID-19 safety guidelines.

For younger visitors, The Piece Hall will offer the inaugural Father Christmas Experience in partnership with Sneaky Experience on selected days throughout December.

The experience will welcome small groups on a magical journey of storytelling and festive imagination with the opportunity to meet the man himself.

Hosted in The Trading Rooms, a festive Dinner & Christmas Cabaret package will see diners serenaded with a musical line-up including jazz and pop with iconic piano man Elite Elton John tribute, and the Ultimate Adele tribute across selected December dates.

Catering for comedy-seekers, The Piece Hall will also be running a series of Caygill Comedy Club nights throughout December, where three fantastic UK comedians will perform hilarious 90-minute shows to table-seated audiences. Initial shows will feature Allyson-June Smith, Eddy Brimson and Alex Boardman. More shows to be announced.
