Dean Clough launches coworking space in former home to the world’s largest carpet manufacturing business
A new coworking space has been launched at Halifax’s Dean Clough.
The newly renovated, characterful open plan space is situated directly above public art galleries, a subterranean theatre and close to arts studios/workshops.
Users can take an all-inclusive membership from just £175 per month, without contract, and also take advantage of a calendar of events.

Jeremy Hall, Chairman and Managing Director at Dean Clough, said: “The new coworking space at Dean Clough has been purposely designed in line with post-pandemic working trends and is suitable for freelancers, hybrid workers, start-ups and corporate teams.
“It offers the ideal solution for those seeking a flexible, collaborative and inspiring work environment with a unique connection to the arts that is rare.
"Dean Clough benefits from an ever-evolving cultural and amenity offer that both bolsters and supports the diverse and vibrant community here, which is just one of the reasons we retain so many growing businesses for the long term.”
Once home to the world’s largest carpet manufacturing business, Dean Clough comprises a vast estate of 16 listed mill buildings with extensive public realm.
Carefully curated redevelopment over many years has transformed the estate into an established working and leisure destination with over 150 organisations employing around 3,500 people on site.
Occupiers range from large corporate enterprises to small independent practices supporting many sectors such as education, healthcare, insurance, technology, transport, creative industries, online retail and many more.
A coworking membership at Dean Clough starts from £175 per month, with inclusive on-site parking available as an optional extra for just £45 per month.
