In a statement, Dean Clough said: “Whilst the majority of us remain at home to stay safe and keep ourselves and our loved ones out of harms way, key workers, people within the public services, and most particularly within the NHS, day in day out, selflessly put themselves and their loved ones at risk for the benefit of us all.

“The change of the Dean Clough sign to blue is a small way to demonstrate our appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all of these heroes.”
