Yorkshire Yurts supplies hand-crafted yurts to hire for events and weddings. The business has taken delivery of the largest yurt in Europe, which measures 50ft in diameter, and recently housed Opera North for a unique performance over the summer.

Founder Tom Sterne said: “With 70 events last year, nine of us were needed, plus a stylist to ensure that the yurts look perfect at every occasion. We are currently fielding so many calls about private hire that a full-time events co-ordinator is now essential and we are looking to recruit a new operations manager too.”

l Yorkshire Yurts will hold an open weekend from October 4-5, 12-4pm, at Yew Tree House, Aldfield, HG4 3BE.
