Yorkshire Payments, founded by 29-year old entrepreneur James Howard in 2011, provides credit and debit card processing facilities as an independent service organisation, officially licensed by MasterCard and Visa, to SMEs across Yorkshire.

It is one of only three businesses in northern England to have gained independent status from Visa and was one of the last businesses to be granted an independent licence.

James said: “We are immensely proud about securing this contract with Global Payments. They are a great brand and one of the leading providers of merchant services not only in the UK but worldwide.

“Our aim is to provide businesses across the Yorkshire region with a local, customer focused service that is supported by some of the most innovative and advanced technology.
