Firm to build on award success

Croft Myl won the new business of the year category at the ceremony held at the Venue in Barkisland.

The firm was founded in 2015 by husband and wife team Brian and Vicky Nolan when they were looking for new business space.

The firm specialises in converting existing buildings into office space for local businesses.

They offer flexible packages to suit a range of businesses, from start-ups that would benefit from a business address to free lancers looking for a change of scene from the kitchen table.

“It’s a really exciting project for us,” said Vicky, who has ambitious plans for the building in Halifax.

“We want to create the kind of business space at Croft Myl that we would have loved to find when we first set up our business nearly 10 years ago.

“We’re inviting companies both large and small to come and visit us and take a look at what could be done with the space to make it just perfect for them.”

As well as providing a home for new and established businesses, the firm invested time and unit space for victims of the Boxing Day floods.

Working in partnership with the Community Foundation for Calderdale, they provided much needed space for furniture and white goods that were donated for flood victims.

They tested the appliances to meet the recommended standards and delivered them to the people who needed them the most in the Calder Valley.
