Halifax agency expands with Senior Amazon Account Manager appointment

Halifax-based marketplace agency Venture Forge has welcomed a new Senior Amazon Account Manager to its ever-growing team, following a year of record growth and repositioning, taking the total headcount to seven.

Imran Hoque will lead, manage, and implement Amazon strategies across Venture Forge’s client base. He will help brands grow their profile and drive sales on the Amazon platform across a range of sales categories including fashion, pet supplies and cycling.

Imran previously held a position at full-service digital marketing agency twentysix in his last role as an SEO Analyst. Prior to this he created and sold private label brands via Amazon and has an academic background in Accounting & Finance as a graduate of Durham University.

Imran has worked across a range of global brands such as Hitachi, GHD, NHS, City Electrical Factors, Virtual College and TPToys.

Adding Imran to the team rounds off a record year for the Venture Forge team, with 21 new clients added to the portfolio and existing clients reporting a 450% growth in revenue. The agency also announced its repositioning in November 2020 as a global marketplace specialist to reflect its expertise and success in helping brands grow their sales across online marketplaces including Amazon.

In December 2020, the agency became the first marketplace agency in the West Yorkshire region to join prestigious Amazon Service Provider Network. Meaning the agency has been recognised as an e-commerce expert and trusted partner by Amazon.
