TES MacDonald, based in Holywell Green, launched the competition as something for children to do while they are stuck at home, and a way of saying thank you to the NHS for their efforts in combating the virus.Mark MacDonald, from the business, said: “The theme is to design a livery for a HGV trailer to say thank you to the heroes in the NHS battling this awful disease.

“It started as a small idea of just giving the kids something to do, but due to some fantastic industry support, we are now able to get the winning design onto a 45ft trailer in service and this will be operated by another local company SUMA, who are also one of our customers.
“So far, I think we’ve had five or six entries and the closing date is midnight on Friday, May 8, with voting by the public on the competition page to take place over the Bank Holiday weekend.”
