Prestige Flowers sent its Leaving Smiles bouquet free of charge to its participants and invited them to leave it in a public place with a 'Take Me Home' postcard for a stranger to find in the hope it makes them smile.

Those who found a bouquet were encouraged to share where they found it on social media using the hashtag #LeavingSmilesUK so its journey could be tracked to see how far smiles had been spread across the UK.

Each bouquet is accompanied with a Take Me Home postcard which includes crucial national helpline numbers on the back of it.

If someone is in need of help or assistance they have the numbers to hand should they need to reach out for help, Prestige Flowers said.
