Harrogate Advertiser Series Business Awards 2015 launched

Brush off your best shoes and polish that acceptance speech – the Harrogate Advertiser Business Awards are back.

The awards, which are now in their tenth year, celebrate the very best businesses and businesspeople in our area and are open to businesses trading in the circulation area of the

The awards cover every business sector, and sponsors include Harrogate Chamber of Commerce, Harrogate Borough Council, Si Recruitment, Berwins solicitors, Saffery Champness, Cicada Communications and Covance and McCormicks Solicitors.

Businesses may enter as many categories as they wish. Entry is free. The closing date for entries is noon on Monday, March 16. Details of how to enter will published next week.

Jean MacQuarrie, the editor of the Harrogate Advertiser Series, said the awards were an excellent way to recognise and reward business success.

“As the economic recovery takes hold, anecdotal evidence suggests there are ever more businesses taking the opportunity to invest and grow. It will be fascinating to hear directly from entrants how they have taken advantage of the fairer weather.

“In this tenth anniversary year, we are going back to our roots – to the Majestic Hotel in Harrogate, where it all began.

“This is because we feel a change of venue always keeps an event fresh – and because we are keen to support as many local businesses as possible.”
