Leadership Summit open now for Halifax registrations

Excellence in business needs strong leadership… and a new spin-off event will offer up a dynamic and spirited debate amongst Yorkshire’s finest.

We are proud to launch the first Business Leadership Summit where The Yorkshire Post is inviting business leaders from across the region to discuss their role in the future of Yorkshire business, creating a green recovery and developing a skilled workforce in a post-covid landscape.

This free event is being hosted online, with fully interactive chat elements and Q&A sessions to allow all delegates to be part of the conversation, while a strong array of guests speakers will make for a thought-provoking and inspiring agenda.

Chaired by Yorkshire Post business editor, Mark Casci, the virtual event will include a dynamic programme of keynote speakers who will discuss key issues such as sustainability, hybrid working and how best to lead a business in a post-pandemic landscape.

The conference takes place on Friday, September 24, from 10am to noon. It’s free, but you must pre-register for your place in order to be sent links to join.

The Leadership Summit is being supported by Community Partner LNER and sponsors First Bus and DAC Beachcroft.

The agenda includes sections on what’s next for Yorkshire, the future for the city centre following the pandemic, and how to create a vision of innovation and leadership; green recovery, and how leaders can play a part in a sustainable future for their organisations and the region; and skills – a look at how a skilled workforce can make a huge difference to the future prosperity of the local economy.
