Local coffee supplier creates speciality Overgate Coffee to support hospice
A local coffee supplier’s speciality coffee is helping to support Overgate Hospice.
Luddendenfoot coffee supplier Antonia & Panesar recently partnered with the hospice to create a bespoke coffee, with a proportion of sales to be donated to the hospice.
The Overgate Coffee is on sale at the supplier’s Coffee Domination cafe — on Burnley Road in Halifax — where 20 per cent of sales will be donated to Overgate, and also at the hospice’s inpatient unit itself.
The hospice opened its new multi-million-pound inpatient unit last month following a huge fundraising effort, and Antonia & Panesar recently installed the new unit’s coffee machines and provided training for them.

Overgate said a “huge thank you” to the coffee suppliers, saying they were “incredibly grateful.”
Overgate said: “We’d like to say a huge thank you to Antonia and Panesar for their support in providing training and installing the coffee machines in our new inpatient unit.”
They added: “A huge thank you to Antonia & Panesar for their continued support — we’re incredibly grateful.”
Antonia & Panesar said it was proud of the partnership with Overgate, and thanked the hospice for its work.

A spokesperson for the business said: “Thank you so much, Overgate Hospice, for your incredibly kind words.
“It’s an absolute pleasure for us at Antonia & Panesar to support the amazing work you do and to be involved with your new inpatient unit.
“We’re proud to be able to play a small part in supporting Overgate and the wonderful care you provide to the local community.
“We look forward to continuing our partnership and helping wherever we can.
“The Overgate coffee bags will also be available to purchase from Coffee Domination.
“Thank you for everything you do.”
Antonia & Panesar is based out of Coffee Quarters in Luddendenfoot, and provides coffee, tea, equipment and support.
