The card can be bought for £1 and each time shoppers spend £5 or more at any one time in any of the shops and businesses in the scheme, they will receive a stamp.

When six stamps have been collected, cardholders put their names and telephone number on the card and hand it into either Darling Buds, Shampooch or Brian’s Little Pet Shop.

Card holders, who must be aged 16 and above, are put into a prize draw every eight weeks with five voucher prizes to spend in any of the shops and businesses in the scheme.

Organisers will split the amount of money raised from the loyalty card sales into voucher prizes and the remaining amount will go towards planting flowers, new hanging baskets outside shops and planting at the side of the chemist and help fund future events. The more cards that are sold, the better the prizes.

Organisers are hoping the idea will boost the local economy and will continue to make the village a nice place to work and live. The shops and businesses taking part in the loyalty card scheme are:
Darling Buds Flower and Gift Shop, Healthy Living Pharmacy, Bailiff Bridge Cafe, Print-It, Salon 613, Bailiff Bridge Fisheries, Rayners Hairdressers, Briggs Computer Shop, Podiatry and Chiropody Centre, Isla Loux Bridal Shop, Brunch Box, Shampooch Pet Parlour, Brian’s Little Pet Shop (Victoria Road), Waddington’s Carpets and CostCutter.

Anyone wanting to find out more information about the scheme or who has any questions can contact the Bailiff Bridge Events Group on 07934 222305.
