Metro to review services supporting Elland, Brighouse and Rastrick
Services included in the review are E3, E5, E6, E7, E8, 258, 384 and 385.
Comments from passengers will help finalise the new network and contracts are expected to be awarded early in 2014, with the new network in place in April 2014.

Speaking at the start of the review process in July 2011, Metro Chairman Councillor James Lewis said: “This Government has reduced the funding received by West Yorkshire’s Councils by hundreds of millions of pounds, which in turn means Metro has less to spend on bus services. We will be consulting local people extensively to ensure that we reduce the impact of these changes as far as we can.”
The list of services affected by the review, together with a link to an on-line questionnaire, can be found on Metro’s web site at www.wymetro.com/busreview, and Metro staff will be on-hand at the following events:
Tuesday October 15, 10.30am to 12.30pm at Rastrick Library
Thursday October 17, 10am to 3pm at Elland Co-Op, Huddersfield Road
