Morning travel and weather update

Queues are starting to form on major roads in Calderdale this morning (Monday).

Traffic on the A629 Cow Green in Halifax is busy but moving in both directions at the Bull Green junction.

On the A58 Aachen Way in Halifax traffic is busy but moving at the Queen’s Road junction.

There are no reported problems on the trains and buses.

Weather wise, Calderdale is set a sunny start to the day, but come the afternoon heavy rain is expected and the Met Office has issued a weather warning for thunder storms. Lows are expected to be 13C, with highs of 17C.
