Morning travel and weather update
The early morning rain has left driving conditions hazardous for motorists this morning (Friday).
There are hazardous driving conditions on M62 between junction 24, A629 (Ainley Top) and junction 27, M621 (Gildersome), because of surface water.
Queues are starting to form on the A646 Burnley Road at Friendly because of temporary traffic lights, with one lane closed.
There are no reported problems on the trains and buses.
Weather wise, there will be a mixture of sunny and rainy spells throughout the day, with lows of 8C and highs of 12C.
