Motorways heavily congested this rush hour

Heavy congestion and motorway chaos is building as one lane is closed on the M62, this rush hour.

One lane is closed at junction 24 westbound, Ainley Top, due to a broken down vehicle which is causing delays and tailbacks to Brighouse, Junction 25.

Meanwhile, on the M621, junction 2, Leeds, a road traffic collision which caused an oil spill is causing severe delays as commuters try to make their way out of the city.
