In recent months they have emerged as one of Yorkshire’s leading businesses in the government’s Green Homes Grant scheme, which allows homeowners and landlords across the UK to access up to £10,000 of funding for energy efficiency improvements such as insulation.

The company have appointed two new directors to the board. Matt Wilkinson has joined as Business Development Director, while David Grayson, also a board member at Halifax Rugby League, has joined as a Non-Executive Director.

Managing Director, Mark Bannister, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Matt and Dave to the board, and welcome their input as we continue to develop Eclipse into the premier home improvement experts in the North of England.”

The company has seen substantial growth in the past 12 months, further boosted by the launch of the Green Homes Grant scheme in early November. The scheme allows homeowners and landlords to apply for a voucher that will fund at least two thirds of the cost of hiring tradespeople to upgrade the energy performance of their homes, up to £10,000 per home.

“The Green Homes Grant has been hugely popular, and we’ve had hundreds of enquiries about it just in the Calderdale area” Mark added. “More people are taking steps to upgrade their property and make them more energy efficient, whether they receive funding or not.

"Our recently launched conservatory roof insulation division has been inundated with enquiries, and we now have three full-time teams on the road, creating more jobs in the area”.

David Grayson, newly appointed Non-Executive Director, added: “I’m thrilled to join the team at Eclipse, both to strengthen our partnership with Halifax Rugby League but also to help guide Mark and the team as they expand, create more jobs, and becoming a prominent West Yorkshire brand”.
