The new store will also raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support as part of Poundland’s national partnership with the cancer care charity.

All the money raised by the store will fund Macmillan’s services.

Since launching its partnership with Macmillan in 2009, Poundland has raised over £1.5 million for the charity.

Poundland has over 500 stores in the UK and Republic of Ireland, including Northern Ireland, and exceeded £1 billion turnover for the first time last year.
