Project reaches milestone

Retail expert Kate Hardcastle, who teamed up with Welcome to Yorkshire to help boost businesses, has now advised over 1,000 firms across the county.

The project has been so successful that Kate will continue to run the business improvement workshops in 2016.

The workshops and seminars were launched four years ago, with topics including customer service and increasing sales.

Kate said: “We have partnered with Welcome to Yorkshire for four years, delivering business improvement workshops and seminars.

“These workshops have created support and advice to a wide variety of businesses – glamping start-ups to established manufacturers – and have assisted Yorkshire businesses to thrive.

“Our partnership continues into 2016 and we hope to reach a further 250 businesses with the same high standard of advice and knowledge.“
