Rain to clear during the night: Afternoon traffic and weather round up

Rain will slowly clear through the evening and first part of the night with a chance of heavy showers possible in the early hours.

There will be strong, blustery winds for a time but winds will ease towards morning.

There is a slight traffic on the A629 Cow Green in Halifax, busy but moving in both directions at the Bull Green junction.

There is slow traffic on the A629 Calderdale Way in both directions in Elland at the A6025 Halifax Road Junction.

There are slight delays on the A58 Wharf Street in Sowerby Bridge, busy but moving in both directions at the A6139 Tuel Lane junction.

Queueing traffic and heavier than usual traffic on M62 westbound between J24, A629 Ainley Top and J23, A640 (Outlane).
