Recognition for Sowerby Bridge firm as 'export champion'
A firm that has seen substantial growth in international trading is to support other companies to do similarly.
The Sowerby Bridge based Rosehill Polymers Group has been recognised as an export champion by the Department for International Trade, following its continued expansion into a range of overseas markets.

Hide AdAs an export champion the company will offer practical advice to other businesses in the Northern Powerhouse Region who also hope to expand.
The Export Champion Community was launched by the International Trade Secretary in February 2019, following requests from businesses seeking support from their peers.
It is designed to help businesses think in global terms. By the end of 2020, there will be up to 150 export champions active across the north of England.

Dr Alexander Celik, group managing director of Rosehill Polymers Group, said: “We’ll be redoubling our efforts to support any regional businesses looking to either start exporting or break into new markets, and will be encouraging other local exporters to do the same.”
