The restaurant had four sittings due to the high demand for its all-you-can-eat buffet, while entertainment was provided by ‘Elvis Patel’.

The special guest was the Mayor of Calderdale Howard Blagbrough, while also in attendance was Angela Mahandru from the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, the chosen charity for the evening. The event raised £200 for the charity.

Owner Taj Uddin said: “We started the buffet at 3pm and finished at 11pm, serving over 400 people.

“We also made a surprise award to Mr Graham Bateman who was our very first customer on our opening night last year.

“It was a fantastic evening enjoyed by all and we would like to wish all our patrons new and old good health.”
