Shop voted best in the north

The shop, based on Skircoat Green Road, overcame strong competition to win the award for Best Independent (non-specialist) Greeting Card Retailer in the North.

The winners of this year’s greeting card retailing awards - known as The Retas - were revealed at an awards event at London’s Dorchester Hotel.

The Retas awards recognise excellence across the whole greeting cards retailing spectrum, from independents on the high street to national stores and supermarkets.

Natalie Seager, owner of Gallery 339, said: “We are delighted to have won. I’m enjoying sharing it with my team and customers who are so supportive and have been really rooting for us. It was lovely to be able to share the day with my mum too. We really enjoyed it.”
