Staff at Pexa achieve NVQ qualifications

Five members of staff at Holywell Green-based Pexa were presented with their NVQ certificates.

Pexa is a supplier of high-tech surface finishing materials to the aerospace industry.

As part of their programme to improve the skills of their team and aim for nationally recognised qualifications, Pexa encouraged five of them to complete Intermediate Level Apprenticeships and NVQ Level 2 qualifications.

Four team leaders have now completed NVQ Level 2 in team leading with level 1 certification in ICT, maths and English with Slic training and one team member has completed his apprenticeship with NVQ Level 2 in warehousing and storage with skills for logistics.

The certificates were presented by Bridget and Jim Rowbotham, Pexa’s managing director, who said: “We are really proud that our team has committed themselves to win these qualifications and managed to fit the extra work in around their normal duties.

“They have all passed every module with flying colours and no doubt they will bring the benefits of that enthusiasm and their new skills to Pexa and our customers.”
