Sunny day in store - but delays on the roads and trains

After a wet weekend, residents in Calderdale are set for a sunny day today (Monday).

There will be lows of 17C and highs of 23C.

Meanwhile traffic is starting to build up on the major roads in Calderdale.

Residents entering Halifax from the Sowerby Bridge direction face delays on King Cross Road at the junction with Parkinson Lane because of three-way temporary traffic lights.

Traffic on the A629 Cow Green in Halifax is busy but moving in both directions at the Bull Green junction.

On the A629 Calderdale Way in Elland traffic is busy but moving in both directions at the A6025 Halifax Road junction.

Traffic on the A641 Huddersfield Road in Brighouse is busy but moving outbound at the Bethel Street junction.

Roadworks are causing delays in Northowram on the A6036.

Trains running through Todmorden Station are being delayed due to signalling problems.

There are no reported problems on the buses.
