The plucky troupe hoped to raise £500 for Working Wonders, which raises money to fund local youth apprenticeships throughout Calderdale.

The team included staff from Wilkinson Woodward Bearders’ offices in Brighouse, Huddersfield and Halifax, as well as colleagues from their partner estate agent, Boocock’s. The challenge, which was organised by personal injury specialist Nick Berry, was jointly led by Nick and Wilkinson Woodward director Andrew Crabtree.

Steve Duncan, joint chairman of Working Wonders, said: “We aim is to ensure that every young person in Calderdale who is able is either employed or in full time education by providing grants to local businesses to employ and support Calderdale apprentices. We are hugely grateful to everyone at Wilkinson Woodward for their support.”

Starting in Halifax, the route took in sites across Wheatley Valley, Mount Tabor, Wainstalls, Mixenden, Illingworth and Boothtown, before heading into the Shibden Valley, Northowram, Norwood Green, Brighouse and Copley before finishing in Savile Park.
