CNG, Harrogate Borough Council (HBC) and Superfast North Yorkshire (SFNY) Business Support Team are all supporting the event, which is organised by Harrogate Chamber of Trade and Commerce and takes place at Pavilions of Harrogate on April 27.

All three partners will take advantage of the range of benefits offered through the partnership packages, including having exhibition stands at the Business Market as well as offering seminars and business advice for visitors.

The Chamber’s Focus Group Leader Phil Holmes of OfficeTech Supplies, who helped to secure the new partnerships, said: “Our focus in 2015 is on new and growing businesses and our partners tie in very well with this theme. We will be releasing full details of what they will be offering at Yorkshire Business Market very soon, and we expect their experts at the event to be in very high demand.”

Meanwhile, more than 25 per cent of the stands have already been booked in the first month since bookings opened at the business-to-business event. For the first time, anyone booking their place and paying the fee before the end of February will be able to choose their preferred location in the exhibition halls.

Also for the first time, Yorkshire Business Market will feature a Start-Up Zone for businesses which have been trading for less than a year. For a new low rate, they can secure a micro-stand in a prominent position and promote themselves to 1,000 or more visitors.

Brian Dunsby, chief executive of organiser Harrogate Chamber of Trade and Commerce, said: “We know many businesses from across the region come to Harrogate to establish new contacts and catch up with existing clients at the annual Yorkshire Business Market.

“We are continuing to offer that opportunity this year, while also recognising the needs of new businesses and the importance of supporting growth in companies of all sizes. Our seminar programme will focus on those needs and aims to give a real boost to growing businesses, which are so important to our economy.”
