To celebrate, Sainsbury’s Trainee Manager Emma Byrne and PR Ambassador Guy Walker talked to the Year five children, about what Fairtrade means and the difference it makes to communities in the developing world. They also sampled Sainsbury’s Milk and Dark Chocolate, which the children particularly enjoyed.

Guy Walker said: We had an excellent time doing the assembly and the children were excellent, they really knew their stuff. It’s great being able to show what a difference we can make to the lives of people on the other side of the world, just through buying Fairtrade products.”
