Smarties will open its doors in September 2015 and as a registered charitable organisation, any profits will be invested back into the nursery and the school.

The building, located in the school’s grounds at Field Top Road, will initially provide 36 places, with funding available for three and four year olds.

Nursery manager Clare Gibson said: “I believe that every child deserves the best start in life and here at Smarties we build the foundations for children to learn and grow.

“The nursery has been designed and will be equipped to a very high specification with children at the heart of all the planning. The nursery will have a separate baby room registered for nine babies. This room will reflect a home from feeling where each child’s individual needs are met.

“The rest of the nursery will be divided between two rooms - two to three years and three to four years. The children will experience all areas of a nurturing and developing environment, enabling them to become confident individuals, capable of making their own choices. Bookings are currently being taken for September. ring Clare on 01484 728050 or email [email protected]. Or for information, visit their website at www.smartiesnursery.rastrick.org
